OUR IMPACT 2021/22
THE YEAR BY NUMBERS
The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW has been supporting people in need for over 140 years through our network of staff, volunteers and members. Much has changed in that time, yet the essence of our work remains consistent in offering a hand-up to people in need. Through the diversity of our services and far-reaching presence in communities across the state, the Society has provided families with stable accommodation, helped women and children escape family and domestic violence, enabled opportunities for inclusion, and stepped up in response to the devastating effects of climate change on communities.
See an overview below of the impact we have been able to make over the course of the 2021/22 financial year. For a more detailed summary of our work assisting people experiencing hardship and disadvantage, refer to the reporting under the Strategic Plan pillars in this annual report.
